The overall staff are very friendly, very positive energy, prompt and attentive, truly professionals in the various duties they do. The Dental Hygienists & Techs are a glass of their own level of professionalism, above the average graduate. They understand more science, physiology, and pathology than most Dentists I know. Dr. Miyasaki, a busy guy tending to a high need, high patient load, was prompt, brief but very detailed, clear and practical. Money doesn’t motivates him but the quality of service and helping patients and provide for his staff. The meritorious award of America’s Best Dentists is well deserved. They care – all of them.

Right up to date of my mini implants, I was worried. Everything went smooth like butter. Megan put me at ease conversing. I actually forgot what I was there to get done. She relaxed me so much I made the doctor wait to finish my sentence. Dr. Miyasaki has such a soft, gentle demeanor. It was worth the flight over, the hotel, the car rental, and the meals. Wow. I was so impressed. They took the time in asking me everything that I wanted to get done! And they took notes. The dental assistant gets a bio on you and speaks to the dentist like she’s introducing the mayor or a rock star! Well a rock star cousin even gets the gold treatment here!

I love everything about A Downtown Dental Group! I’ve always had small sized teeth and have wanted to enhance my smile with porcelain veneers for a very long time. I decided this was going to be the year. After lots of research and consulting with several different dentists, I decided to go with Dr. Wilfred Miyasaki and I’m so glad that I did! Dr. Miyasaki delivered just what I wanted. Being able to smile confidently is something I was never able to do but Dr. Miyasaki has changed that for me. It was the BEST investment and worth every penny! The entire team here is also amazing. The front office staff is so friendly and welcoming as soon as you enter. The assistants and hygienists in the back are so helpful and make you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I appreciate each and every one of them. On the first day of the visit, my heart was pounding and I was very nervous. Despite the my nervousness, everyone, from the receptionist to the assistant, was very nice and kind. They were very easy to talk to, and made me relax. When Dr. Miyasaki came into the room, my first impression of him was very nice. He’s soft spoken and gentle. When he looked at my X-ray, he replied, “Yes, I can help you!” When I heard that, I just burst into tears… When my treatment started, I was so impressed with the anesthesia! I didn’t feel anything, which never happened before, it was not hurting at all! Amazing! A few visits later, I am now finished with my teeth restorations (if you will) and I am beyond satisfied, and thankful for Dr. Miyasaki! He is a very skilled and gentle dentist! I really wish I met him earlier in my life so that I didn’t have to wait so long…but it’s never too late! I thank God for leading me to the best dentist in Hawaii, and will continue to visit him! My dentist-visit phobia is gone! If you are reading my review, trust me, this review is from bottom of my heart, and my actual experience with Dr. Miyasaki.
