Insurances Accepted
Networks and Companies We Work With
We work with many dental PPO plans and are happy to help you understand and use your benefits. Below is a summary of the networks and insurance companies we participate with. Because insurance contracts can change, we always verify your coverage before treatment.
Direct In‑Network Plans
We are directly contracted and in‑network with:
- Delta Dental
- HDS (Hawaii Dental Service)
- HMSA (Hawaii Medical Service Association)-PPO
- HMAA (Hawaii Mainland Administrators)
- TRICARE Dental
In‑Network PPO Network
We participate in:
- Connection Dental Network (proprietary network of GEHA)
Many insurance companies lease this network, which allows their members to use our in‑network fees.
Major Insurance Companies That Access Our In‑Network Fees Through Connection Dental
Many plans from the following companies use our Connection Dental participation to provide in‑network benefits at our office:
- Aetna (most PPO and PPO II plans)
- Ameritas (includes Physicians Mutual, Standard Insurance, and related plans)
- Careington (includes BrightBenefits, some Anthem and other Blue Cross Blue Shield‑branded plans, Fidelio, etc.)
- Cigna (Total Cigna DPPO network)
- Dental Network of America (administers some Blue Cross Blue Shield plans in AL, IL, MT, NM, OK, and TX)
- GEHA (Connection Dental and eligible FEHBP/FEDVIP plans)
- Guardian
- Humana (PPO and Traditional Preferred plans; some FEDVIP and Medicare Advantage dental plans)
- MetLife (PDP Plus network plans)
- United Concordia (Elite Network and selected BCBS/Highmark plans)
- UnitedHealthcare / Dental Benefit Providers (including some Medicare Advantage dental plans and Blue Shield of California plans that use this network)
Note: Not every plan from these companies uses Connection Dental or considers us in‑network. Plan designs and networks vary even within the same insurance company.
Important Insurance Notes:
- Being in‑network with a network or company does not mean we participate with every plan or product they offer.
- Benefits vary by employer and plan (deductibles, waiting periods, covered services, annual maximums, etc.).
- We verify your benefits as a courtesy, but your insurance company always has the final say on what they will pay.
- You are responsible for any portion of fees not covered by your insurance.
If you don’t see your plan listed, or if you’re unsure of your network, please call our office with your insurance card and we’ll be happy to check your benefits.
